How can you become a fashion designer or model?
I’m only in 6th grade, but I have a knack for fashion. I’ve always wanted to be a fashion designer or model, and now’s the time to make my dream come true. Please tell everything you know.
If some people think my age is too young, go ahead and tell me, but this is my dream and has been for as long as I can remember.
I can’t get a degree since I am too young for one. So, please don’t answer with “Get a degree.”
Everyone tells me I’m pretty enough to be a model and they tell me I should model.

Each item of female clothing, from dresses to accessories to pants to underwear, is covered, with great black-and-white and color illustrations. Sections for each garment include what it looks like, the designer who first introduced it, celebrities who made it hot, and how it can be worn today. Who would have thought that parachute pants could be made rockin’? This would make a good addition to browsing collections, especially in larger libraries and those that have an abundance of fashion-forward or aspiring-designer teens.—Charli Osborne, Oxford Public Library, MI Cop… Read more…
